The US Forest Industry Shapefiles provide a current, ready to use database of forest industry mill information for mill owners and operators, timberland owners and investors, and bioenergy project managers to use to track, map, and analyze wood demand in any wood basket in the continental US. The shapefiles are offered in several packages to meet your geographic interests: US South, US North, US West, and the entire US Forest Industry Package.
The US Forestry Industry Shapefiles contain the following attributes:

· Mill Name
· Unique Mill Identification Number
· Mill Type (i.e. lumber, OSB, pulp…)
· Location and Address
· Raw Material Type (i.e. hardwood, softwood, or mixed)
· Capacity/Estimated Tons Consumed at 100% Publicly Stated Capacity
