This includes over 230 million tons of pine and hardwood log flows and 50 million tons of woods-direct and residual chip flows. Forisk's Wood Demand Report tracks actual wood receipts and demand trends by product for timber markets across the Southeast from East Texas and East Oklahoma to the Carolinas and Virginia. Most of this data represents actual wood consumption measured in tons provided to Forisk by wood using facilities.
