MillVantageTM
To assist resource managers and investors in accessing and managing forest products facilities data, Forisk and Sewall jointly offer MillVantageTM, an interactive geodatabase of current information on wood-using mills. MillVantageTM provides geospatial data, mapping and applications for analyzing data on facilities that consume raw forest materials, including traditional forest products facilities and wood-consuming bio-energy facilities. Current coverage includes the Southeastern United States (AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX and VA).

MillVantageTM Details
Product Type: Interactive Geodatabase
MillVantageTM is available both as an on-line subscription service, hosted on the Sewall GeoPowerTM platform, or as a product for use with existing GIS software. Subscriptions include quarterly updates on mill-specific production and types of raw materials consumed.
Three Purchase Options:
Option 1: Regional Data Set with Web Access. Regions include:
Region 1: VA/NC/SC
Region 2: GA/FL
Region 3: AL/MS/TN
Region 4: AR/LA/OK/TX
The portions of Florida, Texas, and Oklahoma covered correspond to coverage by third-party stumpage price data providers. Access via the web viewer/query application only. Annual subscription to cover the costs of maintaining the data and the web interface. Initial one-year subscription is $4,000; a renewal subscription for each year after purchase is $2,000.
Option 2: Southwide Data Set with Web Access. Access via the web viewer/query application only. Annual subscription to cover the costs of maintaining the data and the web interface. First year of updates included with free update cycle commencing at the beginning of the first quarter following purchase. Initial one-year subscription is $12,000; a renewal subscription for each year after purchase is $6,000.
Option 3: Southwide Data Set Download for In-House Use. Annual subscription to cover the costs of maintaining the data. Updates provided quarterly. Initial one-year subscription is $30,000; a renewal subscription for each year after purchase is $10,000.
Once you purchase MillVantageTM, a representative from Sewall will contact you to issue usernames and passwords for up to three individuals at your firm. The client may change the list of individuals as needed due to personnel changes, but at most three individuals at any given time shall be authorized to log in and use the Service.
